Where do we meet?Generally, we meet every Saturday afternoon at 2.30pm at Prospect College, Honeyend Land, to the West of Reading, about 2 miles from the town centre. Occasionally, we meet in another venue. Please see the Events page for more information. Here are the addresses of all the meeting places we use: Prospect School Swallowfield Parish
Hall Risley Memorial Hall (or Risley
Tennis Club next door) From time to time we meet with a sister congregation from Godalming at: Busbridge Village Hall For a map of the above meeting places' location, please follow the links to either
www.streetmap.co.uk
or www.multimap.co.uk
and type in the relevant postcode. Don't forget to come back to our site afterwards!☺ How to get to services at our regular meeting place (Prospect School):If arriving by CAR, the college is a few miles from Junction 12 of the M4 in the direction of central Reading along the A4. If arriving by TRAIN, the nearest railway station is Reading West, which is 1.3 miles away. However, as it is awkward to get to and there is no bus link to Honeyend Lane, it is better to go to Reading Central Station and catch bus number 25, 31 or 34. Bus no.25 is preferable, as it stops closest to the College. For details of timetables and fares, ring National Rail enquiries on 08457 48 49 50 or go to: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ BUSES nos. 25, 31 and 34 all stop close by. Bus no. 25 is preferable as it stops closest to the College and if taking bus nos. 31 or 34 then get off at the Victory pub. The College is close by.
